We don’t usually share much about ourselves here, but in the spirit of being real—this matters.
As a mom, a business owner, and someone who’s getting a little older, I’m noticing more than ever how much the small details in my health add up.
I’ve always been active—playing a variety of sports growing up, then rugby for 15 years starting in high school. After having kids, I found a new passion in CrossFit at 36, and in 2018 we took a leap and opened Iridium CrossFit.
But both rugby and CrossFit take a toll on the body. And if I’m being honest, even though I talk about it daily in the office, I wasn’t always consistent with mobility work or stretching. That had to change.
Now, I’ve learned my body needs the basics to function well—regular adjustments, mobility work, quality sleep, hydration, proper nutrition, and even supplementation. And even then… it still has its own plans.
So believe me—I understand. Life is busy. Life gets overwhelming.
But moms—your health matters too.
Taking care of yourself isn’t optional. Staying active, eating well, and prioritizing the little things now will make a huge difference down the road.
