With Dr. Jeffery Anderson’s retirement announcement there has been inquiries concerning whether our practices will remain open.

Yes! Dr. Casey Roelfs & Dr. Kyle Anderson will continue to provide both the Boone and Ames community with all eye care needs.

While we are saddened to see Dr. Anderson go, we wish him the absolute best in the years to come—as he deserves just that.

Dear patients of Boone and Ames Vision Centers,

After almost 38 years as optometrist, 36 of those years in Boone, 29 in Ames, and 30 as an owner of Boone Vision Center, I decided to retire at the end of 2024.

It has truly been an honor to be a part of the community and to have the opportunity to provide for your eyecare needs through the years. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for all the support you have given me, my family, and our practice through the years. Susan, who retired a year ago, and I look forward to remaining actively involved in the Boone community in the years to come as we move into this new phase of our lives.

My wonderful optometric partners, Dr. Casey Roelfs and Dr. Kyle Anderson, along with the tremendous staff of the Boone and Ames Vision Centers, will continue to be available to serve your eyecare needs.
