Shrinky D**k day at Maggie’s Place!

If you’re wondering what a Shrinky D**k is, you’re not alone. It’s a special plastic sheet that you color or draw on, then bake in the oven. As it heats up, the plastic shrinks down and thickens, turning the artwork into a small, sturdy charm or decoration.

Our residents gave it a try and the creativity was flowing. By the end, they had some pretty cool Snoopy keychains to show for it. Just another fun and creative day at Maggie’s Place. 🎨🐾

✨To the gal that does it all!

From dancing with tenants, to water gun fights in the courtyard, to hosting one heck of a party- Kayla brings the energy, heart, and leadership to Northridge Village every single day.

Her dedication has helped lead us to three deficiency-free surveys, and she continues to show up striving to grow, improve and lead our team forward.

We are incredibly grateful for all she does for NRV and the joy she brings.

With a gentle spirit and compassion, she walks alongside our residents and their loved ones, offering guidance, reassurance, and support. She has a unique way of making people feel valued, safe, and cared for — not just as residents, but as individuals with stories that matter.

Her kindness, patience, and dedication make an impact every single day, often in ways that mean the most. We are so grateful for the warmth and advocacy she brings to our village.

What a great All-Staff Meeting this month! 🎉👏

We kicked things off by celebrating once again an incredible accomplishment — three deficiency-free state surveys in Health Care, Assisted Living, and Memory Care! 🏆 This achievement reflects the hard work, compassion, and dedication our team shows every single day. We couldn’t be more proud. 💙

Next, Allyson, our Maggie’s Place Coordinator, shared outstanding information and hands-on training to help our team better care for residents living with dementia. 🧠💛 Her passion and knowledge continue to make a difference for both residents and staff.

At Northridge Village, the learning never ends. We are always growing, improving, and finding new ways to provide the very best care. 🌱✨
