Our Story...

Hello and welcome to our fan page! Dr. Ben and I (Mandy) are so excited you’ve found us and want to learn a little more about us!

Dr. Ben and I both grew up on our families farms, He being in Fulton Illinois and myself in Stratford Iowa. We met at Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque Iowa our freshman year in college. We married here in Ames in 2008 and Dr.Ben began that fall at Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport Iowa. Shortly after graduation, we founded Back In Action Chiropractic in August 2012.

Not only has Ames been an amazing place to grow a business but a family as well. We have 3 active little ones; Levi 6, Arden 3, and Seth 6months! You’ll often see them here in the office while I’m helping at the front desk, filing insurance or paying bills. It’s a family affair around here. When were not at work, we enjoy being active as much as possible! Bike riding, camping, swimming you name it. We’ve recently enjoyed watching Levi participate in Happyfeet soccer, and Upward Sports’ Football and Basketball at the Plex! On Wednesday evenings we administrate our church’s children's program AWANA. It’s a busy season in our lives but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We look forward to meeting you!
