About six weeks into coaching, Stephanie told me she needed to quit.

Too much stress. Too much pressure. Financial strain. Life felt overwhelming.

She had just gone through a separation. Moved with her two kids. Owns her own business. Carries extra weight. Carries even more responsibility.

Most people think they overeat at night because they lack willpower.

In reality, they underfuel during the first half of the day.

More than 20 years ago.
Same two people. Very different chapter.

When this photo was taken, we had no idea we’d one day be running a gym together.

What we did know was this:
We wanted a future that felt strong, active, and full.

GLP-1s can be helpful, but they aren't the entire answer. Suppressed appetite isn't the same as changed habits. Fear of hunger returning shows a need for solid healthy habits first. Focus on protein, weight training, and understanding your hunger cues.

About Apsire Health & Fitness

Aspire Health & Fitness is a company specializing in nutrition for weight-loss and personal training. Founded, owned and operated by Michael Wilkie since 2000, Aspire's mission is to educate people on how to live a healthy life, one habit at a time. Through customized nutrition programs and personal training, Aspire has been able to positively impact the lives of thousands of people helping them lose thousands of pounds and to truly live out their best life. When Aspire Health & Fitness started 20 years ago the sole offering was in-person personal training. In 2007 Aspire opened the first office under the Diet Doc Franchise allowing it to add value to its services with customized nutrition consulting. This allowed Wilkie’s clients to achieve even greater success with a healthy balance of diet and exercise. In 2017, Aspire began offering online personal training and a hybrid package (in-person in conjunction with online) of training services to it's clients. This allowed Wilkie to stay even more connected to his local clients providing even greater value, while also being able to help people around the country achieve their health and fitness goals.

Michael earned an Associates Degree in Small Business Management / Entrepreneurship from Hesser College in 2006 and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Rivier College in 2008. Along with his business education he is also an Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) certified personal trainer. Michael also has certifications as a Nutrition Technician and Weight Room Specialist through AFAA. He is a certified nutrition consultant through the National Academy of Metabolic Sciences (NAMS).

In service to his community Michael was the director of the Battle of the Books program at Bicentennial Elementary School which is a reading program that encourages kids to read in a fun and competitive environment. The focus of the program is to not only have children read, but to develop better comprehension of what they're reading.

Wilkie's passion for his clients shows in the way he goes the extra mile for them. Wilkie puts tremendous focus on details and organization. The core belief is that if you are intentional with your mindset and action toward your goals, the chances of you succeeding are far greater.
