"My father was a patient there in subacute rehab. He came there after a hospitalization that left him unresponsive, bedbound, and unable to eat. I was told that he had weeks to months to live. After a 100-day stay at Fairmont Crossing, my dad is now speaking, eating, and able to walk with a walker. I credit the caring, compassionate and highly competent staff with his significant improvement." says Rachel on Google

We are so lucky to have the community support that we have here at Fairmont! Our community shows up in so many ways. As many know we always do an angel tree for Christmas and the community really spoils our residents. Miss Lena asked today if we would make a post about her "moomoo", in hopes that the person that gifted it to her would see and know how thankful she is. Lena has carried around her stuffed cow that she has named "moomoo" since the day she received it. She even has other residents babysit it while she participates in activities, eats or anything else throughout the day. It is so amazing how something so simple can make such a significant impact!

🥰Sometimes the hours are long, longer than other days. Sometimes they can be more challenging. Whatever comes your way remember to take some time with the ones you love and just talk.
Our Director of Nursing, Carla reminded us of that today. She sat down for a little while and just talked to a patient. We saw just a taste of her "why" this afternoon.
