ACTION NEEDED

Providers across Ohio are currently experiencing widespread recoupments from CareSource Medicaid plans, dating back YEARS after payment was issued. Caresource has said they have been ‘overpaying’ for services and are recouping thousands upon thousands of dollars from clinicians statewide.

These clawbacks:

* Undermine provider stability
* Create financial hardship for small practices, families, and our community
* Risk reduced access to care for Medicaid clients

We are actively:

* Filing complaints with Ohio Department of Medicaid
* Contacting legislators and state officials
* Exploring legal avenues

Christina Lyons is a counseling intern who is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling of Science with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is also working toward an Adventure-Based Counseling Certificate, combining her passion for nature and experiential learning with her counseling practice.

Meet Savannah Sheets, LPCC!

Savannah is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who received her Bachelor’s of Psychology and Master’s of Clinical Counseling at The University of Toledo. Savannah has experience working in outpatient community mental health settings doing individual and group therapy for all ages.

Savannah specializes in ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, parenting help, and helping individuals gain independent living skills in order to succeed.

Savannah is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), (CSTAG) Threat Assessment, and Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI).

I believe in meeting my clients where they’re at and adapting how I work with each individual by getting to know them through a person-centered approach. I work from multiple modalities through an integrative approach to create a well-rounded experience that is tailored to the client’s needs. As a counselor I use mindfulness, art, and creative, holistic forms of therapy within my practice and in my personal life because I believe in the importance of applying the techniques to keep me grounded.

Meet Hannah Tilley, LPC!

Hannah Tilley is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary and her Bachelor’s of Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from Grove City College. Hannah has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults surrounding issues of depression and anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, and relationships. She is also able to integrate faith-based counseling should her clients desire. Hannah feels honored to come alongside her clients during their most challenging moments and hopes that through her empathic and person-centered approach, they will truly feel seen and heard. She desires to empower her clients through an integrative and strengths-based approach to meet personal goals and achieve lasting change.

Meet Sondra Rush, LPC!

Hello! I believe all people have inherent worth and value and that each individual has the ability to change, learn, and grow. Through personal and professional experiences, I developed a passion and desire to journey alongside teens and adults struggling with identity issues, relational brokenness, grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. My most recent experiences include providing compassionate care to men and women in a residential setting for eating disorder treatment and currently working at a private practice where I provide counseling services to individuals and couples.

I value a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to counseling and believe in treating the whole person (mind, body, spirit). I am passionate about integrating Christian faith and prayer into treatment when desired and draw from different evidence-based methods depending on your needs and personal goals.

Many people often feel overwhelmed and nervous when first engaging in a counseling relationship. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you are empowered to move at your own pace and know that you are not alone.

WELCOME Clare Beltran, LPC

Clare Beltran is a licensed therapist who earned her Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cleveland State University. Her goal is to help clients not only manage life’s difficulties but also rediscover hope and meaning along the way. As Carl Rogers once said, “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Clare believes in that paradox — and in each person’s capacity for growth, healing, and transformation.

In her work, she integrates Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Imago Relationship Therapy to meet each client where they are. This integrative approach allows her to adapt her work to each individual’s unique needs — whether that means using creativity and play tosupport a child’s emotional world, exploring patterns of thought and behavior, or helping individuals communicate with greater empathy and understanding.

WELCOME Elizabeth O’Sicky, LPCC-S to the Evolve Counseling team.

Liz is an LPCC-S who has been practicing in Ohio for over 10 years, and has been providing individual and group clinical supervision for the last 8 years. She has experience within community mental health settings and private practice settings, and will be working with adults, young adults and adolescents while at Evolve.

Liz is knowledgeable and has experience working with many presenting problems including: ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-harmful behavior, obsessive-compulsive disorder, behavioral issues, trauma, grief, life adjustments/stressors and family issues. She is heavily centered and skilled in attachment theory and family systems work. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy.

While Liz practices from an integrative approach, utilizing theory and intervention work that best fits the clients needs, her strongest helper skill is her approachability. She believes the biggest focal point of therapy starts with client and therapist connection, leaving open space for clients to feel comfortable when they are ready to open up. It is one of her greatest honors and highest responsibilities to sit with her clients in their most uncomfortable and dark moments, while witnessing the evolution of their journey to wellness.

Liz believes that mental health wellness is not defined by complete absence of challenges or symptoms, rather the ability to feel confident and competent to navigate stressors and challenges- together.
