OLYMPELVICS EVENT: Trampoline Jump

Pelvic Floor Muscles win, this round 🏅

Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) = leakage with impact or effort (jumping, coughing, laughing, sneezing). When the pelvic floor can respond fast enough, pressure stays managed and leaks don't steal the show.

Gold medal skills:
- coordinating breath with impact
- learning when to engage and when to relax

If leaks show up during jumping, that's feedback! Not a reason to stop moving.

OLYMPELVICS EVENT: Car Seat Deadlift

Uterus wins, this round!🏅

That heavy, dragging, "something's off" feeling after a lift? Yeah, that's Uterus saying check the load.

Prolapse = when pelvic organs shift downward because pressure isn't being managed well, NOT because you're weak, broken, or did something wrong. Prolapse isn't failure, it's a pressure and support mismatch during real life tasks (like hoisting a car seat).

Winning Strategy:
- exhale on the lift
- legs do the work
- ribs stack over pelvis
- avoid bearing down

If lifting brings heaviness or pressure, your body's giving feedback, not quitting the competition.

OLYMPELVICS EVENT: The Sprint to the Bathroom

Bladder wins, this round! 🏅

When the urge comes on strong, the goal isn't to sprint, it's to calmly walk it out. 🚶‍♀️

If you're sprinting, leaking, or constantly scoping out bathrooms, your bladder may be asking for coaching.

Let's talk bladder norms vs. bladder chaos. What's considered a normal bladder function?
- holding about 2 cups of urine before needing to go
- 6-8 bathroom trips in 24 hours
- waking 0-1 times per night to p*e

Urgency isn't a personal failure, it's a training opportunity. Pelvic Floor PT helps your bladder learn when it's actually go-time.

Meet the OlymPELVICS Teams!
Every team has its stats, specialties, and a few quirks! Teamwork isn’t just about the muscles, it’s about the personalities too. From the heavy lifters to the multitaskers, each member plays a role in keeping things running smoothly (and hilariously).
Swipe through to see who’s who, their fun facts, and maybe even their hidden talents. Every strong team is built with a little bit of chaos and a lot of heart.

Meet the team: Bowel!

Rhythm. Relaxation. Support.

Going to the bathroom is a coordinated event - not a power lift.

When muscles know when to contract and let go, things move smoothly.

Even elite athletes don't strain their way to the podium. 🏅

Meet the team: Bladder!

Timing. Control. Coordination.

When the pelvic floor, core, and breath are in sync, leaks don't stand a chance.

This isn't about gripping hard, it's about training smarter.

Gold medals go to control AND recovery. 🏅

Meet the team: Uterus!

Requires strong teammates, good alignment, and rest days.

The uterus isn't doing this solo, it's backed by ligaments, fascia, and pelvic floor MVPs!

Olympic-level support means balance, not tension. Even champions need recovery days 🏅

Meet the team: Pelvic Floor Muscles!

Coordination. Strength. Endurance.

Every muscle has a job, and when they work together - you win.

Train smart, recover well, and don't skip practice. 🏅

And just like that, we have parallel bars!

We hear this almost every week.
"My mom should come see you."

And honestly? She probably should.

Pelvic floor stuff doesn't magically start and stop with pregnancy - It's just when people finally start talking about it.

Bladder leaks, pelvic pain, prolapse, pain with intimacy, core issues...

If your mom has ever said that's just part of getting older, this is your sign.

Yep, your mom should come see us too.

Maternal health is about so much more than pregnancy and delivery. It’s about being heard, supported, and cared for — before, during, and long after birth.

Too many parents are told that pain, leaking, or discomfort are “just part of it.” They’re not. And you deserve better.

At every stage of motherhood, your body matters.
Your recovery matters.
You matter.

If you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or changes years after having a baby, know this: you’re not alone — and help exists.
