If you don’t do anything else this week... you have to make this banana bread syrup for your matcha (or coffee).
The recipe itself is simple and absolutely delicious. It will literally turn your matcha into the coziest drink you’ve ever had.
🍌Ingredients🍵
• 1 cup water
• 1 ripe banana
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
🍌Directions🍵
• Add all the ingredients EXCEPT the vanilla to a small saucepan
• Let the mixture simmer on the stove for about 15 minutes stirring occasionally
• Once it’s done simmering let it cool
• Once cooled strain the syrup, add in your vanilla and stir to combine everything
• Transfer the syrup into a bottle
• Store in the fridge and use within two weeks
