This weeks theme was all things Easter. From our sensory bin to painting the cutest Easter bunnies. I find that my son really thrives when he’s able to be creative so while it does take extra time to prep certain crafts for him it definitely helps the week flow smoother.
🐰 Easter bunny sensory bin — he had the best time playing with it. He told me “it’s so beautiful” so I will be making another one 🥹
🐛Hungry caterpillar craft — this might be my favorite. I prepped the base of the craft and let him glue tissue paper for the body. Read the book. Super cute !
🎨Painting wooden Easter bunnies — honestly this was not a part of the rotation this week, but he found the bunnies and wanted to paint them 😭 I’m going to put them up in my office
🥚Decorating Easter eggs — a quick and simple activity once he was done, he added them to the sensory bin
🌊Mess free drawing mat — this drawing mat is such a lifesaver because he absolutely loves to paint but we all know how that can go when you’re trying to work. So I love that the mat reveals rainbow colors when they use water.
It was very craft heavy week which did require some additional prep but it was definitely worth it 🙌🏾
