Cheryl's Easter Sunday meal was a masterpiece of love and creativity, featuring thoughtfully curated and visually stunning dishes. The Menu, which catered to diverse tastes, included Roast Lamb, with mint jelly, Roasted Turkey Breast, with cranberry sauce, and Baked Pineapple Ham accompanied by carrots, peas, pearled onions, fingerling potatoes, stuffing, gravy and fresh baked garlic bread. Wine pairings of a Bordeaux Cabernet Sauvignon, a crisp Pinot Gris, and a Chardonnay were also offered to complement each chosen protein. The meal concluded with a creamy cheesecake, perfectly balanced with a light, vibrant berry topping. A festive touch of spring!

A big Thank You to the family of Elinor for coming in and sharing the historical journey made by their family during WWII. Elinor took part in a video interview with the Shoah Foundation, which her son was kind enough to share with us. What an amazing woman! We are so very happy and blessed to call her a friend. Cheryl provided a delicious appetizer of mini bagels and lox, and small pastries of herbed cram with fresh salmon and dill. What a lovely and educational afternoon.

HAPPY PASSOVER. This year's Seder meal was a joint collaboration between Cheryl and Aleks. In following with kosher tradition, no dairy, leavened bread, or wheat flour was used, including in the homemade coconut macaroons which were made with sweetened condensed coconut milk. The menu included Matzo, Gefilte Fish, Horseradish, Beef Brisket, Tzimmes, and Coconut Macaroons. Many residents opted to enjoy all courses offered, while others decided on the Brisket plate alone. There was much positive feedback during each course, and into the following day. Residents had described the meal as "outstanding", "delectable", "memorable", "and "phenomenal"! Nicely done Cheryl and Aleks!

Our Sketch Artists were hard at work this afternoon.
Their challenge...to sketch the person across from you, or sketch yourself, so that the Police are able to locate and apprehend that suspect.
Job well done!

We had the perfect day to head off to the Annual Mt. Holyoke Spring Flower Show. The scent of flowers could be detected long before we actually entered the greenhouse. Carol and Nora were at a complete loss for words at the beauty of the blooms, except for the word "stunning".
A big Thank You to Gerrys son, Tom, who is the Director and Curator of the Botanical Gardens and a wonderful tour guide! He answered our many questions and pointed out the finer details of the exhibit.
What an amazing morning!
