Rummikub is fast becoming a new favorite game.
We spent some time learning the rules together, and it has been requested to have Rummikub get-togethers on a daily basis! What fun!!

An interesting, hands-on kind of afternoon, with mini sundaes and stuff we thought we knew. Did you know that the length of your ear is equivalent to the distance between your eyes and mouth; or that the length of your face is the distance between your thumb on your chin and your middle finger at your hair line? Did you know that if you spread your arms wide open, that that distance is equivalent to your height; and that twice the circumference of the thumb is equal to the size of the wrist, twice the wrist circumference is equal to the size of the neck, and twice that is equal to the measurement of the waist? Who Knew!! 🤓😅

Evelyn and Bill enjoyed a recent visit to the Eric Carle Museum of picture Book Art.
It was a lovely way to spend a morning - relaxing amongst the art exhibits, discussing some favorite pieces, checking out the creative art room, and browsing the gift shop before heading home for lunch.

"Wine & Appetizer Pairing".
We chose to focus on the dry whites this time, pairing a Sauvignon Blanc, a Pinot Gris, and a Chardonnay with our appetizers of prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe; a burrata fresh peach and prosciutto crostini with a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and a cucumber slice with herbed cream cheese and smoked salmon. Ginger ale was also available in lieu of wine, and of course...fresh berries!
