Yes! I am a 500-RYT. What does that mean? I've completed more than 500 hours of training and I am a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance.

What's Yoga Alliance, you ask? It is a non-profit and acts as a registry for teachers (RYT) and schools (RYS) that meet its voluntary standards for yoga teacher training (YTT), ensuring quality, consistency, and a framework for ethical practice, including credentials and specialized certifications, all while promoting inclusivity and expanding yoga's reach.

According to this New Scientist piece on anxiety, experts say the three most powerful ways to tackle anxious thoughts are:

✨ Mindful awareness — noticing what’s happening in your body and mind without judgment
✨ Gentle movement — shifting the nervous system out of “fight or flight”
✨ Intentional breathing — using the breath to calm the stress response

I get asked all.the.time...What is Yoga Therapy? Nope, it's not what you think of when you think of "yoga."

It's not poses or manipulating your body. It's connecting to your body. Yoga is more than popular culture promotes. It's not just physical. It's mental, emotional and can be spiritual.

It's not challenging yourself to be super flexible. It's accepting yourself and celebrating your abilities.

If you want a yoga class, then come to class!
If you want a guidance on how to better deal with a condition, than come to yoga therapy!

A yoga therapy session is one-on-one and as unique as the individual.

Yoga Therapy is a holistic modality that compliments western-medicine or psychology.
