If you have a child who is currently undergoing pediatric speech therapy, we want to remind you how important it is to involve the whole family in the process. Family involvement can greatly benefit the child's progress and success in speech therapy.

During therapy sessions, the therapist may teach specific techniques and exercises that can be reinforced at home. By practicing these techniques consistently, your child will have more opportunities to improve their communication skills and reach their goals.

Additionally, family members can provide valuable support and encouragement for the child. You can help them practice their speech exercises, provide positive reinforcement when they make progress, and create a supportive environment for them to communicate more confidently.

We are a family centered, play based speech therapy company that provides in-home and on-site pediatric speech therapy to children of all ages and abilities. My therapy sessions occur in a natural, relaxed setting to prompt immediate use of a child’s new skills. At Speak Easy I place importance on a child’s ability to use new skills across each day and with the people they regularly interact with. A family centered technique allows parents and teachers to target a child’s speech and language goals every day. Specialized activities are taught to ensure the child is getting lots of practice thus speeding up their progress. Speak Easy Speech Therapy believes that children learn best when they are having fun!
