Please be advised that our main nursing home entrance is being replaced today. For today only, all staff, families, and visitors are asked to use the Bus Entrance, located under the overhang where the Gibson Family Health Care van is parked. The entry code remains the same, and a visitor sign-in book will be available at this entrance. Work is expected to be completed today, and the main entrance will reopen once the installation is finished.

Helen Henderson Care Centre has a launched a NEW program called Resident Spotlight. Once a month, we're going to feature the talent of one of our residents. We're launching this program with Harold Piercy, a resident who has published two books. Please join us at 2 pm on April 23 in the Fireside Room to hear him speak about his inspiring books and interesting life.

Outbreak over at Helen Henderson Retirement Lodge- Effective today, Public Health has declared the Enteric outbreak over in the retirement lodge at Helen Henderson Care Centre in Amherstview. As per the home’s protocols: visitations, outings and general visitors have resumed under the guidance of Public Health. Please remember to wash your hands before and after contact with a resident, as well as before entering the home and after exiting. If you are feeling unwell, do not visit. For questions or concerns, contact Erin Woodcox at 613-384-4585 ext. 233.
