Outbreak over at Helen Henderson Care Centre - Effective immediately, Public Health has declared the COVID-19 outbreak over on Reception 3 in long-term care at Helen Henderson Care Centre.
As per the home’s outbreak protocols: visitations, outings and general visitors will resume under the guidance of Public Health.

COVID-19 outbreak - Helen Henderson Care Centre is in a COVID-19 outbreak on Reception Three in long-term care. Residents in this area are restricted to visitors who are Essential Caregivers; full personal protective equipment must be worn by staff and visitors. Staff and visitors are required to wear masks in the rest of the long-term care home (Receptions One and Two). The home will continue to work closely with Public Health and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care to minimize the outbreak. The home is following strict infection control protocols. Thank-you for your cooperation and understanding as we take every measure to protect your loved one. The well-being of the residents in our care, and our staff, is our top priority. If you are not feeling well, please do not visit our home. We will continue to update families via email before, during and after the outbreak. Please know that we have a comprehensive management plan that has been carefully and thoughtfully designed by experts.
