Sunday Morning Greetings from Richardson Funeral Home, Inc ☀️

Today’s Scripture

For the Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the clatter of speeding chariots and the galloping of horses and the sounds of a great army approaching….So they panicked and ran into the night, abandoning their tents, horses, donkeys, and everything else, as they fled for their lives. 2 Kings 7:6–7, NLT

Today’s Word

The city of Samaria was surrounded by a huge Syrian army. The Israelites’ food supply had been cut off, and now the people were starving. They didn’t have the army, the weapons, or the strength to fight back. The situation looked impossible. It was just a matter of time before they would die. But God is not limited by what you don’t have. He’s not intimidated by how big the opposition is, by how bad the medical report is, by what the financial statement says. He used the sound of a great approaching army to cause the Syrians to flee for their lives, leaving behind an abundance of provision for the Israelites.

God knows how to get rid of the opposition quickly. Don’t be discouraged by how permanent that obstacle looks or how much more powerful it seems than you. You have an advantage. The Most High God is on your side. He knows how to cause your enemies to hurry out of your way. You’re going to see some things turn around quickly, problems resolve suddenly, and the opposition be defeated rapidly.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You that You are the God who can do the impossible and who loves to surprise us. Thank You that one touch of Your favor can turn around what looks like it will never change. I believe that this is a new day and You are going to do more than I can imagine. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”🙏🏾☀️❤️

Good morning family, and may your Sunday be a blessed one. ☀️

Today’s Scripture

Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Psalm 37:4, AMPC

Today’s Word

When God breathed His life into you, He put in you everything you need to fulfill your destiny. The Most High God is on your side. You have royal blood flowing through your veins. There are dreams in you so big that you can’t accomplish them on your own. It’s going to take you connecting with the Giver of dreams, knowing that God is directing your steps. But you have to stir up your dream. The enemy would love for you to keep your dream buried and wants to convince you that it’s never going to happen. Don’t believe those lies. You can still become all you were created to be.

Whatever dream that God has put in you, no matter how long it’s been, no matter how impossible it looks, stir it up. It starts in your thinking, in what you’re believing, and in what you’re saying. No more saying, “It’s never going to happen.” No, you have to say, “I’m surrounded by God’s favor. Blessings are chasing me down. Because I delight myself in the Lord, He will give me the desires of my heart.”

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You for the dreams and desires and secret petitions You put in my heart. Thank You that You’re calling me to my destiny and telling me what I can become. I declare that You being for me is more than enough to get me to where I’m supposed to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”🙏🏾☀️❤️

GOOD MORNING FAMILY☀️

Today’s Scripture

“Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” Exodus 17:6, NKJV

Today’s Word

When God freed the two million Israelite slaves from Egypt and was leading them through the desert toward the Promised Land, there were no grocery stores or water faucets. They began to complain, but God didn’t deliver them only to let them die of thirst. He had Moses take his staff and strike a rock, and water poured out. It was a supernatural provision.

Don’t be surprised if you face times when all the facts say, “You’ll always struggle, have debt, not enough.” God will allow situations where it looks impossible so He can show you His supernatural provision, but you have to trust Him. The Scripture says, “He makes streams in the barren places, rivers in the desert.” There may be some things barren in your life. You don’t see how it could ever change. No, get ready. God’s about to strike the rock. You’re going to see provision you can’t explain, good breaks that don’t make sense, increase that defies the odds. The same God who brought water out of a rock can cause abundance to come knocking on your door.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You that no matter if my situation looks impossible, no matter what seems delayed, You will do what You have promised. Thank You that I can get my hopes up and know that You make streams to flow in the barren places. I will not be afraid. I will believe. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”🙏🏾☀️❤️

GOOD NIGHT FAMILY🌕

Today’s Scripture

When you draw close to God, God will draw close to you.
James 4:8, TLB

Today’s Word

You may have thought that if you didn’t want anything to do with God, He’d say, “Fine. I’ll blow you off, too. See if I ever help you.” God is not like that. He’s as close as the breath you breathe. All you have to do is call out, to draw close to Him, and He’s right there. He’s not holding the past against you. He’s not upset because you ignored Him. He’s not turned off because you didn’t believe in Him. He waited when you were off course. He waited when you had a bad attitude. He waited when you failed, when you were addicted, when you were compromising. He showed you mercy. He picked you up when you fell. He protected you when you chose the wrong friends. He stopped the accident that could have taken you out. He waited when you were upset because He didn’t answer your prayer. He’s waiting for you now. His arms are opened wide. Why don’t you draw close to Him now. He’s promised to draw close to you.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You for who You are, so compassionate and merciful. Thank You that You are not holding my past against me. Thank You that I am forgiven. Thank You that I’m redeemed because of what Jesus did on the cross. I am drawing close to You right now and believing You are drawing close to me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”🙏🏾☀️❤️

HAPPY MONDAY☀️

Today’s Devotional:

—Competing Purposes—

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.

Proverbs 16:9

It can be exceedingly frustrating when nothing goes your way. You know what you must accomplish during the day, but from the moment you wake up, you can tell that you will have innumerable obstacles to overcome if you're going to succeed in your goals.
This is not by chance but to train you. You must come to the place where you understand that your life is in God's hands and He directs your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).
You may have your plans for today, but the Lord has His own.
Your main tension and frustration will come when you work against Him and fail to trust His good purposes.
Friend, don't fight Him—He always wins. Rather, allow the Father to lead you step-by-step and leave what you don't accomplish in His hands. This may make you feel vulnerable, but trust Him anyway loving others who need you and peacefully accepting the challenges that come. He will help you and position you perfectly to succeed.

-Today’s Prayer-

Lord, I don't want to fight You—I want to submit to Your will. Help me obey You and sense Your presence throughout the day. I trust You with my life, Father.

Amen 🙏🏾☀️❤️

GOOD MORNING FAMILY ☀️

Today’s Scripture

When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain.
Exodus 32:19, NIV

Today’s Word

The Ten Commandments had been inscribed on the stone tablets by the finger of God and entrusted into Moses’ care in a holy, majestic moment on Mount Sinai. It’s interesting that Moses was so angry because the Israelites were compromising and giving in to temptation that he broke the priceless, sacred gift. Sometimes we can let what others are doing, how society is acting, the division, the dysfunction around us, to cause us to become angry and bitter and mishandle what God has given us. You can’t make everyone do what’s right. You can’t make the culture live according to God’s Word. Yes, as believers, we’re going to be bright lights to the world and do what we can, but don’t throw down what God has entrusted you with because of all the chaos around you. Protect the gifts God has given you—your family, your integrity, your holiness, your peace. Don’t live frustrated and angry at people who are doing wrong. That’s the trick of the enemy to keep you in strife. Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You for Your peace and joy that rule and guard my heart as I put my trust in You. Help me to see myself and other people as You see us, as imperfect humans. I refuse to allow my circumstances or what others say and do to get me upset. I declare I will walk in peace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”🙏🏾☀️❤️
