Hello My Friends! I hope you are well. As someone who has made a mission out of "I'll do it tomorrow," it is important to remember that we really need to do it today. I have found that when I tell myself I will take care of it tomorrow, tomorrow never seems to come.

Whatever you have going right now that needs to be done, I encourage you to get started today. It will make all of the difference in how you feel and will give you the satisfaction of accomplishing something! Have a blessed day.

Hello My Friends! I have a challenge for you today. I want you to do something nice for yourself. One of the best ways we can do this is how we talk to ourselves. I have found that we are often our own worst critic, and rarely would we speak to someone the way we speak to ourselves. Since this is probably happening in your life too, I would encourage you to talk to yourself in a kind way today. You are amazing, and the world needs what you offer. I am glad you are here and hope you find joy in your day!

Hello My Friends! I hope you are finding joy in your week and that you are doing well. I really liked this little thought, as I feel when we look at the totality of our lives, we truly have so many reasons to smile, even in the midst of a hard challenge.

I have often heard people say "fake it until you make it." I really think it should be "believe until you achieve!" Let us each take time to find the good, especially if we are feeling surrounded by the bad. Have a great day and thanks for being here!

Hello My Friends! I hope you have had an excellent week and that you find some time to enjoy the weekend.

I wanted to share this thought below. I have found that one thing that has helped me become more emotionally resilient is to work on being focused on the blessings that I do have, and putting less focus on the areas where I think I am lacking.

One way to improve this area of your life is to keep a gratitude journal. If you take time each day to count the things for which you are grateful, I promise you will see a change in the way that you feel in life. Let us each take a moment today, and each day, to see the blessings that surround us.

Hello My Friends! What is Emotional Resilience? Here is one definition I found that seems to be on point. "Emotional resilience is your ability to respond to stressful or unexpected situations and crises."

One thing that stands out to me in the definition is the word unexpected. Usually when trials or challenges come in life, it seems that stressful situations usually happen unexpectedly. If we had known they were coming, we could have tried to soften the impact and been prepared.

Since we don't know when they are going to happen, the best thing we can do is prepare ourselves to be emotionally stronger, so when they do come, they will be less impactful. Instead of a life of stress and anxiety, we can create an attitude of come what may and love it.

I have been working to create this in my own life and have found the blessings in so doing. My goal now is to help other people become more emotionally resilient, thus allowing them to live their very best life!

Hello My Friends! I hope that you are having a wonderful week. When I found this meme, it really resonated with me.

I have found that it is easy for many people to live in, and not learn from, the past. When this occurs, it robs joy from today and doesn't allow you to move on in life.

Have you ever spent time wondering what if? What if I had done something different in a given situation? I know I have spent time thinking about how I wish I would have done something different in a certain situation. I have also learned that this type of thinking doesn't accomplish anything, as there is no way to change what is done in the past. However, we can learn from those situations and make different choices as we move forward. This is where we apply the lesson.

I have heard this described as the mirrors and windows in a car. The windshield is the largest viewpoint, because where you are going matters most. The rear-view mirror is very small in comparison. It is still useful to see where you have been, but your focus needs to stay on where you are going.

Thank you for being here and I hope that whatever challenges you are facing today, you can keep them in the proper perspective. I am pulling for you and know you can overcome whatever you are facing today!

Hello My Friends! When we are in the midst of the struggles in our lives, it can be so easy to forget all of the blessings we have received. There is no better time to stop and count your many blessings than when you are in the eye of the storm. I am pulling for you and am grateful we are taking this journey together!

Hello My Friends! As you know, it has been a little while since I made a post. This video will give you a little insight into why I feel the need to pivot from having a focus on weight loss, to helping people become emotionally resilient. Thanks for being with me on this journey.
