Thank you to Itawamba Community College for hosting our Health Science and Sports Medicine seniors today. Students were able to tour the Health Science programs on the Tupelo and Belden campus including Nursing, Health Information Technology, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Respiratory Care, Surgical Technology and Emergency Medical Sciences.

💓 Today, our Health Science and Sports Medicine students became teachers! They showed Mrs. Ragon's 6th grade Excel classes at AMS how to perform Hands-Only CPR, empowering young students with lifesaving skills! 💪

Students in Exploring Computer Science completed one of their Robotics units by participating in a “Thanksgiving Parade.” Students picked a specific theme to build their float. Students learned coding, programming, and debugging throughout the unit along with a ton of problem solving.

Congratulations to Mr. Robert Smith, our Metal Fabrication instructor, for being selected as the Amory Career and Technical Center Teacher of the Year! Mr. Smith is a dedicated educator who goes above and beyond to help his students succeed, both in the classroom and in their future careers. We are proud to have him as part of our CTC family!
