Tonight, I'm pausing to share an Ancestral Reiki Healing session, with my client's full permission. As a Spirit-guided and heart-led healing practitioner, the session "begins" before my client even arrives...
I clear the space, set intentions and drop into stillness to connect with Spirit. I focus on my client, scanning her Chakras, noting which areas will need gentle nurturing, release, expansion or empowerment to receive. My client is a beautiful soul... full of wonder, marveling at the simple things in life. She is kind-hearted, loving and giving with a deep capacity to feel.
My client has arrived at a place in her life that feels familiar, yet foreign, energetically uncomfortable, yet safe, known and unknown. She walks forward on her path, anchored both in her current timeline and to her past...ancestral patterns, beliefs, values and mindsets can sometimes create a sense of heaviness that can weigh us down mentally or emotionally, creating energetic wounds. This year, my client has consciously committed to releasing ancestral weight that she is not meant to carry. She is resilient and brave, open and ready to embrace her healing... Here's a glimpse of her session:
Making my client comfortable on the table, I placed a heated flaxseed pad over her Root Chakra for grounding, rose quartz placed by the Heart Chakra for calling forth ancestral love and support and a linen throw draped over her, symbolizing safety, protection and the transition from daily life into the session, allowing only what's aligned to come through. I focused on infusing protection and love, clearing, expanding and releasing.
While in my client's Crown, I saw her day focused on serving others, leaving her feeling depleted and fragmented, like mosaic pieces scattered about and heard "reclamation"... time to gather the pieces of herself in order to feel whole. Traveling into her Third Eye, she was greeted by her father and with his arm around her (his hand resting on her right shoulder) they gazed up at the stars. Her father pointed out the Pegasus constellation and shared that his love is reflected in the many stars in the sky. I hovered my hands over her right shoulder, infusing my client with her father's love. While in my client's Heart Chakra, which appears as a home to me, her father came forward again, this time opening the door of her heart space, welcoming her in, showing he tends to her heart even in her absence. He showed me
a picture of his mother while my client's maternal grandmother handed her blankets--comfort and warmth. While in her Sacral, her maternal grandmother joined other female ancestors, dancing, singing and humming in a circle around my client. Singing her back to herself as I figure-eight stitched her energetic wounds- some which belonged to her and others that she has carried in every version of herself until now. In her Root Chakra, I attuned my client with safety, stability and an abundant mindset.
Following the session, my client shared that she felt and heard her ancestors singing in a circle around her, felt her ancestors mending her (felt like her finger was being stitched) and felt she was being pieced back together. My client felt her father on her right shoulder and felt his presence in her heart space. My client is committed to giving herself permission to take up space, to allow her light to glow brightly... to rise. This is the year of my client's rebirth and I am so grateful I get to witness her transformation. ❤️
