Something I am really looking forward to this April: I will be joining an amazing group of practitioners and teachers at the Nourish, Heal and Flow Retreat at Anacortes Yoga Sanctuary on April 18th and 19th.

My talk will be on gut health, and honestly the full lineup surrounding it is something I am just as excited about as my own session. Yoga, sound bath, cacao ceremony, Qigong, Ayurvedic food and teachings, music therapy, and more, all over two nourishing days.

Space is intentionally limited to 25 guests to keep the retreat focused and personal. Early bird pricing is available through April 1st.

So many of the women we see walk through our door carrying the same quiet frustration. That something feels off, that they have been dismissed or overlooked, that they are not sure where to start or whether it is even worth trying.

People ask me all the time what I do to stay energized and present through a full day of patients. The honest answer is that it starts before I ever walk through the clinic door. Meditation, journaling, morning light, yoga or a bike ride depending on the day, and then sauna, red light, and two minutes in the cold plunge before I get ready to see anyone. It sounds like a lot, but I built it slowly, one habit at a time. That's the only way any of it actually sticks.

You don't have to do it all, but building habits into your day that will actually move you closer to your wellness goals is one of my favorite things to work on with my patients.
