A T T E N T I O N ‼️

The B.E.A.R. Program is moving to 301 West Broadway in Anadarko, Oklahoma. We have been packing and moving items all week and the staff are exhausted, but despite that, we have continued to set up booths. Last night, we were at the Bigfoot Storytelling Event and today at the kids, kites, and frights event in anadarko! Thank you, Mr. Tapedo for setting up, meeting new contacts, finding potential clients, and providing safe storage bags, and safe disposal pouches to community members. It’s things like this that make our program effective and make the community aware we are here to help!

If you or someone you know need help with treatment or detox for Opioids or Stimulants, the BEAR program is here to help. Give us a call 4056482714 or 4056482721.

Thank you!

Shoutout to Will Tapedo, the BEAR Program’s Caseworker/Outreach employee. Will became certified through the State of Oklahoma last year as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist where he offers Peer Coaching to clients in recovery through lived experience and encouragement. Will is not only a certified PRSS, he is also full-time college student pursuing his Psychology degree, and most recently, he has been selected by the National American Indian and Alaska Native Prevention Technology Transfer Center Network for the Prevention Fellowship Program, which is a year long program that develops Native leaders in the prevention workforce! Join us in congratulating Mr. Tapedo on his continued achievements and success! Way to go, Will!!

TOR staff are presenting to the Anadarko High School Seniors on the dangers of Fentanyl. Our peer recovery staff are sharing their stories and encouraging youth not to use fentanyl. Thank you Anadarko Public Schools for allowing us to educate the students. We all have to work together. ♥️
