Appreciating Our Supporters

Earlier in the month, participants took the time to partake in a Valentine's Day Thank-a-Thon and called My Day Counts donors to let them know how much they appreciate the support they receive.

Participants expressed what their favorite parts of their programs are and how big an impact their support is. We appreciate all our supporters!

Our City, Our Community

Participants from My Day Counts continue to spread love in the community by stopping by Anaheim City Hall to pass out Valentine's cards to the security guards, City Clerk staff, and the City Council staff.

We are so appreciative of the work the city does to help out its community.

A Small Act of Kindness, A Big Community Impact

Participants at My Day Counts recently spent time creating Valentine cards for senior residents at Harbor Heights in Anaheim, sharing messages of encouragement, warmth, and connection.

Acts like this are happening all year as part of our 75 Acts of Service initiative, celebrating our 75th anniversary by giving back to the community that has supported us for generations.

Each act is a reminder that adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are contributors, volunteers, and community builders.

Celebrating 75 Years Through Service

My Day Counts is celebrating its 75th anniversary throughout 2026, and the work is already in motion.

As part of this milestone year, participants are carrying out 75 Acts of Service across Anaheim and the greater Orange County community, supporting nonprofits, assisting at community spaces, and helping neighbors.

Nearly 20 individuals have already earned the Bronze Presidential Service Award, with one reaching the Silver level, a powerful reflection of what happens when people are given the opportunity to contribute and lead.

This effort will continue all year as we celebrate 75 years of impact by strengthening the community we call home.

We invite you to follow the journey, partner with us, and be part of what comes next.
