Blinked and suddenly it’s February…
just a few of the winter files so far ❄️✨🤍🌵

Home really is where the people are, and lately I’ve been so grateful my heart gets to live in more than one place 🥹

Here’s to the in-between moments, because that’s really all this life is, little seasons stitched together ✨🫶🏻

(and dare I say I miss the snow… just for a minute… I’ll take golf year-round for now)

Today is one of those days that always holds a little extra magic in it. It’s Christmas, but it’s also my grandma’s 91st birthday (my grandpa turned 93 in August) And they’re a huge reason why health means so much to me ♥️

Not in the performative way
Not in the aesthetic way
But in the quiet, everyday way

I’ve been lucky enough to witness what happens when someone takes care of themselves spiritually, physically, and mentally over an entire lifetime. I’ve seen how movement keeps you independent, how purpose keeps you curious, how faith and connection keep you grounded, and how tending to your inner world matters just as much as tending to your body

They’ve taught me that longevity isn’t just about adding years to your life, it’s about adding life to your years. About being present, capable, connected. About still laughing, still walking, still showing up for the people you love

It’s a reminder that how we live matters, not just for us, but for all the lives we touch along the way 🫶🏻

Happy Holiday season to all, keep shining your light for those who you don’t even realize need it 💫

Recovery sessions look like:

🔋Strength that supports, not depletes

😌 Moving with yourself, not against

🧘🏻‍♀️ Checking in with your body + mind, not checking a box

🌿 Training the nervous system as much as the muscles

___________

Two days post-Hyrox, my movement looked like:

• 10 min bike (Zone 1)

• ~20 min light strength + stretch
  – TRX: mobility, core, hamstring curls, bridges
  – Goblet squats 3×12 (light)
  – Lat pulldowns 3×15 (light)
  – Chin-ups 3×6

• 20 min Stair climber
• 30 min sauna

Take a moment to recognize what you need first,
Execute second 🤎✨

First Mixed Doubles in the books!

My favorite part about these races is how they bring people together. Grateful for old + new friends, a healthy body, and a community that creates opportunities to push new limits

Full race breakdown coming soon… but until then, recovery mode activated (for now 😉)

Happy Sunday 🤍💪🏻

Aside from the running, if I had to choose the two things that ate up the most time/mental capacity in my first HYROX Women’s race, it would be wall balls and burpee broad jumps. They felt almost impossible 🫠

So this year, I trained differently because I want to perform differently

I’m excited to see how the training has paid off physically, but even more curious about how my mentality through it all has changed

And if you’re reading this, maybe let this be your reminder too:

🔥 Train action, not avoidance

💛 Practice doing instead of overthinking

👉🏻 Move toward the thing you don’t want to do

Because what you avoid usually holds the breakthrough

Physical performance can be such a powerful mirror and learning tool for the inner work we tend to put off

On the other side of resistance, there’s something pretty magical waiting for you 🫶🏻

Goodluck to all those competing this weekend!
