Did you know the order you eat your food can make or break your health goals? It’s not just what you eat, but how you eat it. Here’s the winning formula ⬇️

1️⃣ Fiber first → Start with your veggies (think broccoli, cauliflower, salad). Fiber slows down digestion, feeds your good gut bacteria, and helps stabilize blood sugar.

2️⃣ Protein next → Chicken, fish, eggs, or plant-based protein. Protein builds muscle, keeps you satisfied, and balances your metabolism.

3️⃣ Resistant starch last → Sweet potato, beans, or basmati rice. Saving these for the end means you’ll absorb the starches more slowly, leading to steady energy instead of spikes and crashes.

Everyone loves the grind, but here’s the truth: progress doesn’t happen in the gym — it happens in recovery.

Lately I’ve been diving deep into HRV (heart rate variability) — one of the best windows into how well your nervous system is handling stress. High HRV usually means your body is primed for performance. Low HRV? That’s your body waving a red flag 🚩 telling you it needs more rest, sleep, and recovery.

If you keep pushing through low HRV days without letting your body recharge, you’re not building strength — you’re breaking it down. Overtraining can:
⚡ Weaken your immune system
⚡ Raise inflammation (bad news for gut health too)
⚡ Stall muscle growth and fat loss
⚡ Tank your energy and motivation
