We provide a full range of health services for older adults in a quiet, residential setting in Anamosa, Iowa. Whether we are providing short-term rehabilitation therapies to a resident working to regain strength after a hospital stay or you are making our community your new home under our nursing home program, rest assured our goal is to enrich your life through providing Kind. In addition to the above services, we also rent independent and assisted living apartments in our adjacent Woodland Park Assisted Living. Tenants enjoy convenience services such as; meals, housekeeping, laundry, and access to health services if needed.

Last Friday, we gathered to wish a heartfelt farewell to Vickie on her last day with us. ❤️ After nearly 30 years of dedication, laughter, and care, she is off to new adventures. We are so grateful for everything she has done for our residents and our team.

This week was filled with honor and joy. On Tuesday, we had the privilege of celebrating our Veteran’s here at the Care Center with a warm and hearty soup supper. We were especially grateful to American Legion Post 13 for joining us and performing a beautiful flag ceremony for our residents. It was a meaningful evening we won’t forgot!

The other day brought the most heartwarming surprise! A little boy walked in with a big smile and an even bigger act of kindness — he brought flowers for every table in our dining room. Our residents were over the moon as each bouquet found its home. Moments like this remind us how a simple gesture can brighten an entire day. Thank you for spreading so much joy!

Join us on November 11th for a cozy Soup Supper featuring homemade chili, creamy potato soup, and rich broccoli cheddar—served with fresh-baked bread and topped off with delicious cinnamon rolls!

This meal is offered by free-will donation, with all proceeds going to the Anamosa AMVETS Post 110 to support their amazing work for our veterans and community.

Come warm up with good food and even better company—all while supporting a great cause! We hope to see you there!

We were able to participate in two parades this year — first for Pumpkinfest, where we proudly took 1st place for our float, and then again in Cedar Rapids!

I think it’s safe to say we definitely got our use out of this display!

Join us at the Anamosa Care Center on October 31st from 4–5 PM for some Halloween fun!
Bring your little ghosts and goblins to trick-or-treat through the halls and visit our residents — they can’t wait to see all the costumes!

Pumpkin Volcano Eruption!

Science met spooky season today as we turned pumpkins into erupting volcanoes! The residents had a blast watching the colorful “lava” bubble up and spill over — and let’s just say, our pumpkins were on fire (in the best way)
