Our Kayden Klaus for a Cause donation box is still in the lobby, but not for long!

We’re collecting new, unwrapped toys, gift cards, and items from the Amazon Wish List (QR code on the box in the lobby). All donations go to kids and families receiving care at Providence Alaska Children’s Hospital, the Pediatric Infusion Center, and Alaska Pediatric Specialties Oncology Clinic.

🎅 Kayden — a cancer survivor with more grit than most adults — knows firsthand how much these gifts matter. Let’s help him make the holidays a little brighter. ✨

We’re excited to share Anchorage cardiologist ’s new newsletter, starting with his debut post, “Redefining Health at 45.”

Happy Memorial Day from Alaska Premier Health! 🇺🇸

Today, we remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 💙

Here are a few facts in honor of the day:

✨ The Battle of Attu, fought in May 1943 on Alaska’s remote Attu Island, was the only World War II land battle fought on North American soil. U.S. forces faced brutal conditions to reclaim the island.

✨ Memorial Day was originally called “Decoration Day” and began after the Civil War.

✨Mount POW/MIA, located in the Chugach Mountains near Wasilla, stands as a tribute to all American soldiers who are or have been Prisoners of War or Missing in Action.

Whether you're enjoying the long weekend in the great Alaskan outdoors or spending time with loved ones, we wish you a safe, healthy, and meaningful Memorial Day! 🌲☀️
