Community spaces are vital to connecting people and the closure of Identity Health in Anchorage, AK will leave a gap of treatment and community care in Alaska. Q***r and trans people have always existed and we will continue to support, care and create spaces for us. We are very sad to see the damaging affects of policy changes and the current socio-political climate. Conversion therapy is not therapy and is harmful. Being LGBTQ does not need to be fixed. We are not broken. Tell your lawmakers to reject Conversion therapy and protect our youth from harmful practices.

This is not an April Fool's joke. We are deeply disappointed by the Supreme Court's ruling on the Conversion Therapy Ban - moments such as these are deeply disturbing and will be studied in our history books for years to come. That being said, the Supreme Court’s decision does not change NASW’s unwavering stance on conversion therapy and the harm it causes. We will continue to fight for state policy that makes Massachusetts a safe space for all.

Tonight, our community comes together for Champions for Inclusive Care at the Lakefront Hotel.

In a time when so many are losing access to the care they deserve, gathering with intention matters. Standing with one another strengthens the care our community continues to build for itself.
