At A2P2, we believe real change happens when innovation, partnership, and equity come together. We use data and creative thinking to improve systems of care, work alongside communities and partners across Alaska, and focus on solutions that meet families where they are—because there’s no one-size-fits-all path to thriving.
The needs and voices of Alaska’s kids and families guide everything we do. Support systems-level change that expands access, strengthens care, and helps every child thrive.
Donate to A2P2 through Pick.Click.Give. this year and be part of the change.

TRANSFORMING RURAL HEALTH | The Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) is advancing a shared, statewide vision for the future of health care in Alaska. Grounded in three core pillars of patients, providers, and systems, RHTP focuses on keeping people at the center of care, strengthening the workforce, and modernizing how care is delivered across all Alaska communities.

Day 1 of the RHTP Convening wrapped up yesterday, bringing together participants from across the state to collaborate on how this investment can improve access and support long-term system sustainability. Discussions focused on the program’s goals to:

• Keep patients and families at the center of care, with better coordination and care closer to home

• Strengthen regional coordination and community-based partnerships

• Build a foundation of prevention, primary care, and chronic disease management

• Expand access to behavioral health services, complex care, and long-term services and supports

• Invest in technology, data, and IT modernization to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden

Who we are

We are a nonprofit dedicated to improving the health and wellness outcomes for Alaska’s children. We are a convener and connecter of all sectors that provide services, programs and education aimed at children and their families.

Our perspectives:

Children are Alaska’s most important infrastructure. Period. When you invest in our children, you invest in our state’s future. And the earlier the better. A child’s full potential to thrive is largely determined at preconception, starting with their mother’s physical and mental health.

The early years matter. Once a child is born we have three years to set them on the best path possible to becoming healthy, capable and engaged adults. We want to make sure ALL Alaska’s children are given equal opportunity to reach their full potential as adults.
