Did you know that April is the Month of the Military Child? In 1986 Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger established the Month of the Military Child. This month honors the resilience and sacrifices of over 1.6 million children in U.S. military families. The goal is to bring recognition to the challenges these children face, including frequent relocations, parental deployments, and emotional stress.
We always welcome our military kiddos at the facility to meet our service dogs in training! We have visits planned to Orion Elementary and Aurora Elementary on JBER this month and are excited to share what our pups can do with our military youth.

It's no joke, today is Yasmin's first birthday! Yaz is an emotional magician and does phenomenal with her deep pressure therapy commands. She is a frequently requested dog during our sessions because of her emotional and physical connection. She is still unsure about retrieving items, but she is a love bug for sure! We love our Yazzie and we are excited to see how her training progresses. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YASMIN!!
