Late nights, extra helpings, and holiday stress...your hormones felt it too.

Changes in sleep, diet, and stress over the holidays can temporarily affect your mood, energy, sleep, and menstrual cycle. Hormones like cortisol, estrogen, and progesterone respond to these shifts, which is why you might feel “off.”

Start the year by talking about your hormones and finding balance so you feel like yourself again.

Let’s talk! Schedule your visit: denaliobgyn.com/service/hormone-therapy

Urinary incontinence is more common than you think, and it’s fixable.

Dr. Korneeva explains the three types:

1. Urge: can’t wait to use the restroom
2. Stress: leakage from sneezing, coughing, or running
3. Mixed: a combination of both

Treatment can range from Kegel exercises and specialized physical therapy to sling surgery, which provides pelvic floor support and can dramatically improve quality of life.

Don’t suffer in silence, talk to your OB-GYN about your options. Schedule an appointment with us today: denaliobgyn.com/service/urogynecology

The holidays can be joyful, but also stressful.

For women experiencing menopause, added pressures can intensify hot flashes, sleep struggles, and mood swings. The good news? Small choices make a big difference. Taking time for movement, practicing calming breathing, keeping a consistent sleep routine, choosing balanced meals alongside the treats, and carving out quiet moments just for yourself all help ease the season’s stress.

At Denali OBGYN, we’re here to support you through life’s transitions with care that empowers you to feel your best.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) recommend that young women have their first gynecological appointment between the ages of 13 and 15, around the time most begin menstruating.

These early visits focus on education and guidance, answering questions about periods, sexual and reproductive health, and overall well-being in a safe, supportive environment. No pelvic exams or Pap smears are needed at this first visit.

The providers at Denali OB-GYN are passionate about helping teens understand changes during puberty. Learn more and schedule your teen’s visit: denaliobgyn.com/services denaliobgyn.com/services
