Intro to Climbing for Kids in the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Community! Curriculum will mirror Alaska Rock Gym Intro to Climbing regularly scheduled Intro for Kids class, but they will have interpreters available as needed. Ages 5 to 13 years!

Anyone within the Deaf & Hard of Hearing community can sign up! Registration is open NOW!

Intro to Climbing for Kids in the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Community! Curriculum will mirror Alaska Rock Gym's regularly scheduled Intro for Kids class, but they will have interpreters available as needed. Anyone within the Deaf & Hard of Hearing community can sign up!!! Registration is open NOW! Parents can call (907) 562-7265 to register over the phone or they can email belay@alaskarockgym.com for an online registration link.

Intro to Climbing for Kids is an orientation class for first time climbers that have not participated in ARGs youth programming before. Over the course of 4 weeks, kids learn the basics of the indoor climbing gym: how to navigate around the bouldering area, fall on the boulder pads, and brave the heights of the roped climbing walls. This class is designed to be taken once.
Appropriate for kids ages 5 through 13 years.
The price is $150 for 4 weeks of climbing. Class meets on Saturday mornings from 10:00a-11:30a. Dates are listed below:
November 11th
November 18th
(skip Thanksgiving week)
December 2nd
December 9th
