We like tech that doesn't cost an arm and a leg here at the Green Vatican. Always looking to save a buck by trying something different. A couple of fellas in my family tree invented copper wire while fighting over a penny.
That aside, we bought this nifty growroom monitor for about half the price of the Pulse device. It came in yesterday and took just minutes to get it onto the catacomb's WiFi. They are a young company, and the dashboard wouldn't let me add the device. I shot off an email to headquarters and the problem was solved this morning.
All in all, I am as happy as a clam at high tide. At a little over a C note, it works well so far, and it's good value for the money.
If you're cheap like us, but still like to know what's going on in the growroom, look into this unit.

Finally got some frost in the catacombs of the Green Vatican. Head grower and manual labor is under one hat, and Brandon has a full time job doing this somewhere else.
This is more a signal that we're still alive than anything else. Happy 2021, and keep yer fu***ng head down, and pod face firmly in place. Don't give away nothing if you want to survive the coming years. Stay safe out there. 🤘

Had some work done on my neck that has been scheduled for some time. I haven't been doing updates, because of this and other things going on. I will try to do one soon, but if you aren't following Brandon, you haven't seen a couple of samples of what we've been working on. I have no pics, because my Samsung Potato Cam is on its last legs. Brandon's pride and joy is his Golden Goose, an explosion of lemons and oranges from this f2 run. His SLH mom and the Citrus Farmer stud came through here. There will be keepers in every run. It has passed the stress test and no hermaphrodites in any runs.
The Ak Canna Dudes were talking of creating a hype strain, and that immediately made us dig the FPOG x Magnum Opus out of the vault, and it has not disappointed. Were still working on this one. The Magnum Opus brings a flowery fruitiness that is very unique, and not a profile I've seen anywhere else.
We are at a reset point, and getting ready to relaunch with some of our stuff soon. Work a few of our lines a little. Get the Golden Goose ready for whatever awaits.

Don't do this. It's stupid. But we did it anyway. Being stupid has never held anyone back, and we are certainly not going to be the first. But it was a test of germination and nothing else, so any benefit beyond that is gravy. And also a test of smell and structure, although the size of the pot severely restricted any real data, beyond hardiness, etc. But it has a distinctive smell that doesn't make sense. It is our White Fang x Citrus Farmer. Citrus Farmer is more an orange thing. The lemon really comes through on this one. Straight lemon Pledge. We may reveg this, but we have enough beans to do a decent pheno hunt, and will be sending some for testing to our tester crew. Looking for something interesting in this batch of beans.

We've been in kind of a slow wobble for several months, as I deal with some health issues. Brandon has struggled on carrying our garden after working 8 or 9 hours on his work garden.
But spring is in sight, and it's time to bring some good things to life. We threw the Citrus Farmer at pretty much every girl in the stable. Well, he ran loose in the garden for awhile after doing stud work on the SLH, impregnating every mature female we had, excepting the youngsters in the veg tent. We had plans for a lot of these crosses, but nature hurried up the calendar. Now we pheno hunt for a further work on stabilizing the strains. We're excited about the Golden Goose.
We're still working the White Fang line as well, with pics of some buds coming soon.

A pollination gone awry resulted in a White Fang lady beating fruit. The potent papa was a Citrus Farmer stud that had amazing structure and prolific flowering.
But kinda like a dog down the street making babies with your AKC prize winner, I'm hoping something good comes from this accidental coupling. White Fang with an orange component sounds good to me.

is raising the bar on the garden supplies. I have no commitment to any local Anchorage garden stores, and I do have a great respect for the founder of Home Depot, and their support for our military, and veterans.
Not bad prices on some cool items. Selection isn't huge, but it will only get better. Check them out. Or don't. I'm not your mother.

The from coming across the finish line. We don't s***g, for a lot of reasons. I won't go into it here, no point in rehashing hours of therapy. But as a freedom loving man...
Anyway, I don't do well describing things. Or taking pics with the trusty . I leave that to my partner, and head gardener here at the , Brandon.
I shut off the lights in this tent, until we get around to turning it over.
