Dear Valued Patients,

After eight wonderful years serving this community, we want to share an important update regarding our clinic.

Our practice will be closing for chiropractic services effective March 26, 2026, as Dr. Josh has received a military assignment that will be taking our family to the East Coast. Massage visits with Julia will remain uninterrupted until May 1st, 2026.

It has truly been an honor to care for you and your families over the years. Your trust, loyalty, and support have meant so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful to have been part of your health and wellness journey.

While this transition brings new opportunities for our family, leaving this community is not easy. The relationships we have built with our patients are something we will always cherish.

If you are in need of continued chiropractic care, we would be happy to help connect you with other trusted chiropractors in the area. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like a recommendation—we want to make sure you are well taken care of and smoothly transitioned to another provider.

If your travels ever bring you to the East Coast, please don’t hesitate to reach out and say hello — we would love to hear from you.

Our newest treatment is now available!

Shock Wave Therapy:
Radial pressure waves help offer a non invasive treatment solution to long term insertion and soft tissue pathologies. Local treatment in the affected area
will help support and reset the healing pattern.

There are several working hypothesis for the physical effects of radial pressure waves, pain reduction and increased blood circulation that may be quite
beneficial.

Pain Reduction:
Neurologically, shock waves produce a counter irritation at the dorsal root ganglion actually modulating the amount of
nocioceptive activity and decreasing the pain signal and actually closing the theoretical pain gate (explained by the Gate-Control-Theory)

Revascularization:
Vascular changes such as increased blood circulate in tissues, which increases the oxygen content and significantly reduce the concentration of carbon dioxide in the tissue which may stimulate the healing process.

Demo day! Thank you to all the patients who came out today to test drive a Shockwave Therapy and Class IV Laser unit that will soon be joining our toolbox. It’s important to us to bring current and effective modalities to your treatment time with us. May we continue being a new wave of care. We thank Alex of Enovis for coming out to Alaska and showing us the ropes and protocols. Stay tuned for the arrival of our unit and some upcoming training days. We are so stoked to have another way to help you heal. Today was absolutely electric with the results we witnessed.

Research is always advancing and it was so great getting some updated treatment advice in helping co-manage these cases. It was rad going through this with 60 other DC’s tuning in. First steps= spine check! He’s be-bopping (and tumbling) all around lately. Bode earned & rocked his chiro appointment today. They wiggle all around at this stage during the appointment (and let’s face it, everywhere). But we are SO here for it! He had a great set of his sacrum. Followed by an epic nap. Kiddos can absolutely benefit from chiropractic care and tune-ups prior to issues arising. Stay a “step” ahead of their spinal and nervous system health.

We are grateful to be helping patients more consistently again. We will begin the ability to bill your insurance again effective next week! 😎. We also have even more update coming to the space this weekend. Thank you all for following along during our come-back. It was difficult heading two small businesses back to where we were prior to 2023. We are finally pretty proud of where the gym stands, and we will now be able to give more brain power to the clinic. Thank you all for your patience so that we can better focus on you.
