New Years means new goals, but where are they coming from?.
Are your goals being motivated by shame? Guilt? Someone else’s opinions?Or something else?.
The biggest mindset shift for me has been trying to heal and serve my body by the choices I make, not trying to force it to do what I want. I spent years doing this. Your goals will come so much easier if they’re motivated by love and respect.

Yay! Christmastime is here!! It’s currently dumping snow in our neck of the woods, which only adds to the Christmas-y feelings (although I wished it helped people’s moods when they shopped). Hopefully we can go romp around in the snow tomorrow and enjoy it.

Made one of my favorite (lazy) sheet pan dinners last night:

4 chicken sausages chopped + Brussels sprouts + broccoli + zucchini + bell peppers. Drizzle veggies with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast at 375 for 40ish minutes.

I serve this on top of rice and with avocado for the husband because he’s on the but I usually just eat this with avocado.

Isn’t that statistic crazy? Even with BPA being removed from certain items it’s still so prevalent in our lives.

BPA can worsen PCOS symptoms and reduce fertility. It affects the function and structure of the o***y and can change the expression of genes during fetal development. It mimics estrogen and can cause hormonal issues in both women and men. Pretty scary stuff!

Although it’s pretty hard to completely avoid, there are some things you can do to reduce exposure. Check out my blog if you want to know more about what these chemicals can do to your hormones and changes you can make to decrease your risk!

Ugh. Getting sick is the WORST. I was sick last week for much longer than normal. I’m usually a 2-3 day-er when I get sick but for some reason it lasted closer to a week. However, there are some things I did to alleviate/shorten symptoms that I want to share with you! I’m not a big medicine-take

I’m pounding the tea, dabbing on the essential oils, and taking all the vitamins.

One of my favorite things though is to take a super hot bath, sweat out the junk, and then jump in a super cold shower. It’s not the most comfortable thing ever but it gets that lymph moving!
