Happy Lunar New Year 🧧 Yang Fire Horse

We step into the Yang Fire Horse on the heels of the shedding and deep transformation carried through 2025’s Wood Snake. This transition moves in strong and undeniable. As a double Yang year, it calls us into radiant visibility, aligned action, and a steady building of momentum.

The Fire Horse arrives fierce and sure of itself. In Chinese astrology, the Horse carries bravery, resilience, and a powerful drive forward. While it knows when to pull back and restore in solitude, it is also deeply connected to community and collective movement. This is a year of coming together - of shared intention, collaboration, and creating change that can truly take root and unfold.

The Fire Horse is one of the rarest signs in the Chinese zodiac, last appearing in 1966, making this cycle especially potent and charged with possibility.

As the Fire element burns bright, remember the importance of balance. Fire that burns without grounding can quickly exhaust itself. ✨Happy Winter Solstice✨A day us Alaskans really look forward to each year as the promise of light returns, starting tomorrow. Yin is at its peak today & i know we all look forward to the rise of more Yang energy✨I took this picture a couple of years ago on solstice on my walk at 9:15am as the sun is starting to rise over the mountains & Cook Inlet and the moon is still laying sleepily in the sky. It’s a great reflection of the energy Solstice encompasses.
