Eastern Aleutian Tribes, Inc. Working Together to Promote Healthy Communities

Aleut tribes, from the Aleutian Islands and Alaska Peninsula, came together in an effort to find more effective health care for their community members. The founders had a vision of a world where family and friends were no longer dying of illnesses that were treatable with good primary and preventive care; through tenacity, resilience, and grit, Eastern Aleutian Tribes was formed in 1991. Eastern Aleutian Tribes provides medical, dental, and behavioral health services in Adak, Akutan, Cold Bay, False Pass, King Cove, Nelson Lagoon, and Sand Point. Our service area comprises over 100,000 square miles of the most beautiful, remote and challenging locations in the world. We, at EAT, are committed to providing quality, patient-centered healthcare that is respectful of and responsive to the individual preferences, needs, and values of our community members.
