New federal program for internet service. Medicaid recipients qualify also if you have lifeline already you already qualify here’s the info
There's a new program called the Emergency Broadband Benefit. Eligible households can receive a discount up to $50 per month for internet service, and up to $75 for those on Tribal lands.
Your household may be eligible if anyone at home:
- Qualifies for Lifeline program or is enrolled in SNAP or Medicaid
- Has a child who gets free school meals
- Lost their job since March 2020
