We’re hiring! Hope is excited to announce a new opportunity to join our team as a Hard of Hearing Navigator.
This role is part of our Deaf Supports team and assists Hard of Hearing people and their families across Alaska by connecting them to resources, services, and systems that promote access, independence, and inclusion. The Navigator focuses on outreach, community engagement, and advocacy—helping bridge communication gaps in healthcare, education, housing, employment, and beyond.

Longer days deserve louder brunches! 🌞
On Sunday, March 8, grab your fun-loving friends and head to 907 Alehouse & Grill for “Let the Sun Shine” Sing-Along Brunch, a kickoff to spring and a celebration of the returning sun.
Expect a delicious brunch buffet, and non-stop feel-good music, classic crowd-pleasers, and the occasional power ballad (think Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Madonna, Pink, Sia, Prince, etc.).
Let’s welcome spring with a sing-along, laugh-out-loud, raise-your-glass, let-the-sun-shine kind of brunch!
Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) is not simply the “winter blues.” It is a recurring, clinically recognized form of depression linked to seasonal changes in daylight. It's most common during the winter months, when daylight hours drop sharply, and symptoms usually start improving in the spring as daylight increases.
Read our latest wellness bulletin to learn more about recognizing symptoms, learning wellness strategies, and knowing when to seek support.

What an unforgettable first Sing-a-Long Brunch in Anchorage—Galentine’s edition! 💖
We packed the house at 907 Alehouse & Grill, and wow—everyone showed up ready to have a good time. We sang our hearts out to everything from Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus to Journey and Neil Diamond. DJ Lefty and Nicky T kept the energy and vibes high, guests received goodie bags, and the staff at 907 Alehouse really outdid themselves with the delicious brunch buffet.
It was the perfect launch for Anchorage’s newest can’t-miss event. Start making plans now to join us on March 8 for our next Spring edition—“Let the Sun Shine” Brunch. Something tells us tickets won’t last long.
Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and attended Friday’s Night to Shine events across the state! The evening was so joyful and memorable, made possible by the Tim Tebow Foundation and the generosity and enthusiasm of so many people in our community.

We are a non-profit organization providing community supports to hundreds of individuals and families who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and mental health challenges. We provide services through regional offices located in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley, Dillingham, Kodiak, Seward, Utqiagvik, and the Kenai Peninsula. We also serve the outlying areas and numerous rural communities within each region.
Who We Serve
The people who choose our supports range in age from infancy to the elderly, are of diverse ethnic background, and experience a range of disabilities. Each person is individual and unique in the supports they need and request.
Why Choose Hope?
Our mission of support is based on an individualized approach, believing that each person has unique needs and must be the chief architect of their own service delivery plan. By listening to the dreams of the individuals and families who choose our supports, we are able to provide unique opportunities, create new living environments, and expand programs that fully encompass the needs of families. As a result, our community supports are as diversified and as personalized as the dreams of each person.
