ncology Group is the #1 choice for cancer care in Alaska. In 2014, Katmai Oncology Group joined the SCCA at the University of Washington as its eleventh affiliate in the greater Northwest. This affiliation offers Alaska patients expanded access to cancer treatment options via select SCCA clinical studies. Webb, MD started the oncology practice in 1973 and was later joined by Dr. Dennis D. Beckworth, MD and the name Katmai Oncology Group was adopted in 1996. Today, our staff is composed of the finest, most-highly qualified in Alaska. With 6 board-certified oncologists, 6 oncology-specialized ANPs, combined with infusion-certified nurses, and support staff to lend support and guidance on a range of integrative care specialties and services. Katmai Oncology Group specializes in caring for the whole patient, answering patient questions and concerns with numerous support staff and programs. Our philosophy is to ensure all patient needs are met – both medical and non-medical.
