Dr. Poston obtained a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland Ohio. Following school, he went on to a 3-year comprehensive residency program at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in the Metro Detroit area.
Dr. Poston possesses the most extensive and rigorous training the podiatric surgical profession offers. He can provide a wide range of non-surgical and surgical management for disorders and deformities. He has received training in diabetic foot care, trauma, wound care, and limb salvage procedures.
Dr. Poston is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is a member of the American Podiatric Medical and Alabama Podiatric Medical Associations.
Dr. Poston is a native of Idaho where he learned the value of hard work and an appreciation for the outdoors. He loves spending time with his family. He and his wife, Roni, have 7 beautiful children who take up nearly all of their “free time”. Dr. Poston enjoys watching and coaching their sporting activities.
