🚨Eye Drop Recall🚨
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced a Class II recall of multiple over-the-counter eye drops manufactured by K.C. Pharmaceuticals due to "lack of assurance of sterility."

A Class II recall means these products may cause temporary or medically reversible health effects, with a low likelihood of serious harm.

The 8 brands affected from the manufacturer include:
❌Artificial Tears Sterile Lubricant Eye Drops
❌Dry Eye Relief Drops
❌Eye Drops Advanced Relief
❌Sterile Eye Drops
❌Lubricant Eye Drops
❌Lubricant Gel Drops
❌Multi-Action Relief Eye Drops
❌Eye Irritation Relief Drops

These were sold under various, generic, store-brand labels nationwide (CVS, Walgreens, Kroger and Rite Aid), so they may not all look the same.

What you should do?
✔ Look at the brand name, lot number and expiration date on your eye drop bottle
✔ Stop using any affected products
✔ Consult your eye doctor for any questions

There have been no confirmed reports of contamination or widespread harm for this specific recall, but sterility is critical for anything put in your eyes - so it is always best to be cautious.
