The Easter Bunny and 500 Festival Princess, Lauren Wuthrich, hopped on over to hang out with the children and grandchildren of our associates, doing crafts, taking photos and decorating cookies!

Alexis Struble, a Patient Care Tech at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson, recently cared for a patient recovering from a serious car accident.
During a frightening and uncertain time, Alexis took the time to sit with the patient, offering comfort, conversation, and reassurance while she was away from her family. The patient shared that Alexis helped ease her fear and nervousness and provided truly amazing care, always ready to help when needed.

Join us in congratulating Melissa Gorby, RN! One of our DAISY award recipients!🌼

Melissa was nominated by a patient's family member, who said she took care of their grandparent when they were readmitted to the hospital from an extended care facility. Melissa was the patient's nurse for several days and displayed kind and compassionate care. They said that Melissa is very knowledgeable and works diligently with the medical team to find solutions for the patient. The family appreciated that Melissa followed up even after the patient was dismissed.

We are celebrating BEE Winner Paulette McClain, a 24-year associate at the Anderson Center at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson! 🐝

Paulette was a key player when a patient had difficulties with some behaviors. Her calming approach and verbal skills helped de-escalate the situation. While other staff were there to support, it was Paulette whose communication and direction kept our patient safe.

Paulette's experience and skills in this type of situation helped resolve an escalating situation in the best possible manner for the patient and the associates. Our BEE Award stands for Be Exceptional Everyday

Our LOVED Award recipient, Amy Spradlin, a Patient Care Tech in the Cardiac Rehabilitation department, serves our patients with compassion and dedication. She helps patients navigate their care and is an extraordinary patient advocate. She listens to patients' fears and concerns. She prays with them and helps alleviate their stress.

She has a big heart and always puts patients first! Amy has been with St Vincent for 23 years, and we are so blessed to have her as a part of our team.

Our Story

Ascension St.Vincent Anderson, located in Anderson, Indiana, is a comprehensive regional health system with many noted centers of expertise. Our integrated network includes an acute care medical center with a Level 3 trauma center, digital cardiac catheterization lab and sub-acute rehabilitation center; state-of-the-art surgical pavilion, a psychiatric and addictions-treatment hospital; durable medical equipment company; and an ambulatory services center that houses centers of expertise in cancer care, outpatient rehabilitation, balance disorders, women's services, and digestive diseases. Ascension St. Vincent Anderson also has an additional outpatient rehabilitation center near Pendleton, four free-standing family practice facilities in outlying Madison County communities, an urgent care center, and a comprehensive occupational medicine program. The health care organization is part of Ascension St. Vincent Indiana network of 20 hospitals and Ascension, the largest Catholic health system in the United States.
