When the Cardiology Department was closed for the day, Julie Clark, a 30-year Ascension St. Vincent Anderson associate, received a call about a patient needing a heart monitor before they could be discharged home. Julie immediately returned to the hospital to ensure the patient could go home that evening.

Julie's dedication and willingness to serve truly exemplify our core values. We are so blessed to have associates like her on our team, capturing these incredible moments of compassion in our ministry! 💙

Did you know we are a certified Safe Sleep Hospital? We're passionate about making sure all babies sleep safely and are here to help families learn the ABCs of safe sleep:

𝗔 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲: Keep the crib empty! No blankets, pillows, or toys with your baby.
𝗕 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸: Always place your baby on their back for every sleep, including naps.
𝗖 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗯: Your baby should sleep in a crib, bassinet, or play yard with a firm, flat, and non-inclined surface.

What an incredible day of wellness and community! This past weekend, Ascension St. Vincent Anderson hosted its Medical Mission at Home, providing hundreds of families with vital no-cost healthcare and resources.

Guests received everything from flu shots and mammograms to behavioral health consultations and car seats, all in one family-friendly setting. Plus, neighbors enjoyed a cookout, met local first responders, and toured a Stat Flight helicopter! 🚁

As Marion Teixeira, President of Ascension St. Vincent Anderson, shared: "This event truly reflects our mission to serve the whole person—body, mind, and spirit."

Chelsea Newell goes above and beyond for our employees with a smile, especially when that might be the only meal they get that day. She is a great cook and truly does her job with love. She takes care of you like you’re the only person in line. Chelsea has multiple roles in her department. She works the grill to serve our associates and visitors, as well as a cook for our patients who are in the hospital.

Thank you, Chelsea, for being such a beautiful person, both inside and out, and for caring for all of us.

Our Story

Ascension St.Vincent Anderson, located in Anderson, Indiana, is a comprehensive regional health system with many noted centers of expertise. Our integrated network includes an acute care medical center with a Level 3 trauma center, digital cardiac catheterization lab and sub-acute rehabilitation center; state-of-the-art surgical pavilion, a psychiatric and addictions-treatment hospital; durable medical equipment company; and an ambulatory services center that houses centers of expertise in cancer care, outpatient rehabilitation, balance disorders, women's services, and digestive diseases. Ascension St. Vincent Anderson also has an additional outpatient rehabilitation center near Pendleton, four free-standing family practice facilities in outlying Madison County communities, an urgent care center, and a comprehensive occupational medicine program. The health care organization is part of Ascension St. Vincent Indiana network of 20 hospitals and Ascension, the largest Catholic health system in the United States.
