Autism awareness isnโ€™t just a month on the calendarโ€”itโ€™s an everyday commitment to seeing, hearing, and valuing people for who they are. ๐Ÿ’™

Understanding autism means moving beyond stereotypes and focusing on acceptance, inclusion and the unique strengths every autistic person brings to the table. When we build communities that listen, adapt and welcome everyone, we all thrive.

Letโ€™s keep learning and creating spaces where every person feels they belong.

Happy ! ๐ŸŽ‰ We're excited to introduce you to Mendi, one of our amazing BCBAs at the school-aged center. ๐ŸŒŸ

Mendi's journey to becoming a BCBA is such a unique and inspiring one. She studied Consumer and Family Sciences at Purdue and went on to earn her Master's degree in ABA from Ball State. ๐ŸŽ“ But what truly sparked her passion for this field was her personal connection to developmental disabilities. When a family member was diagnosed with autism, she knew she had to be a part of making a positive impact in this community. ๐Ÿงก

One of the things that fuels Mendi every day is seeing the progress made by her clients. Whether it's a big milestone or a small victory, it all makes a difference. ๐Ÿ’ช And when she's not at work, Mendi loves spending time with her family - which includes 4 children, 2 goldendoodles, a koi pond, and chickens! ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒป But that's not all, she's also a talented singer and pianist, and recently picked up sewing as a new hobby. Talk about multi-talented! ๐Ÿ˜

Mendi's been a part of our TGP family for quite some time and what she loves most is the sense of community and support we have here. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿก
