Last week, Tampa PD responded to a burning vehicle containing a man who had a medical emergency. The impact from the crash caused the car to be engulfed in flames, forcing police officers to smash the window to pull the man to safety. He has since been taken to the hospital with minimal injuries and has been released.

Today we honor all of our Medal of Honor recipients. Roy Benavidez, awarded in 1981, embodied extraordinary courage and perseverance. After a landmine explosion left him paralyzed, he refused to accept that fate; he successfully trained himself to walk again by practicing every night for six months. When his 12-man team was captured by the North Vietnamese Army, he fought to save them armed only with a knife, sustaining 37 wounds in the process. Presumed dead, he defied the odds again. For his heroism, Roy Benavidez received the Medal of Honor on February 2, 1981.

TacMed also proudly honors the newest Medal of Honor recipients, Chief Warrant Officer Eric Slover and Captain Royce Williams. Under intense fire, Slover's MH-47 got hit 15 times, and his leg 4 times. Slover pressed on, eliminating the threat with unwavering resolve. Williams, the oldest recipient to wear the Medal of Honor, led his outnumbered team to victory, neutralizing four enemy jets through exceptional skill and leadership.

Four Michigan police officers were injured on Wednesday while trying to rescue 5 people trapped in a car. The car had crashed into a trailer at an intersection and burst into flames. Police rushed to the accident, and all civilians were taken to hospitals, having minor to major injuries.

We also service civilian audiences such as all municipal buildings in the city of Dallas, NFL stadiums, Marriott hotels, churches, and public and private schools across the country through Tramedic, our line of trauma kits developed for the everyday citizen. In addition to providing all of these customers equipment designed specifically for them, we provide kit customization and a complete knowledge management system that offers education and training to match.
