This isn’t a sewing class. So what is it?
It’s a practice of choosing to keep — the worn flannel, the favorite jacket, the jeans that still have life in them. Instead of replacing what’s worn, we mend it. Over and over. And the mending becomes part of the story.
Visible mending is intentional. Even beautiful. The techniques are simple. A few basic stitches, some layering, and the freedom to be imperfect.
No experience needed.
No pressure to get it right.
But the deeper thread running through all of it is this: when you slow down enough to care for something worn, something shifts. You can mend your favorite pieces and yourself in the process.
