🚨 Meet our Clinical Psychologist, Dr. George Jones! 🚨
We're lucky enough that Dr. Jones goes back and forth from our Anderson location and Greenville location so even more of the upstate can experience his expertise! 🥸
Dr. Jones is a crowd favorite for his well balanced humor, approachable, and personable character that's mixed with the respectable and nuanced manner that his accolades demand.
Patients refer to Dr. Jones as "Simply the best!", "So sweet and good at what he does.", and our personal favorite compliment, "He has helped me and so many others." Helping our patients with everything from general therapy, grief, marriage counseling, psych testing, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and so much more, each and every patient says the same thing.
As for Dr. Jones, he has this to say about himself:
"I graduated from University of Central Arkansas with Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's of Psychology in 1979 and 1982, respectively. I therein attended Florida Institute of Technology and obtained my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology in 1986. I've spent the last 40 years with extensive experience in testing, teaching, and administering psychological therapy to students and patients, alike. I began in psychology and liked it too much to want to do anything else. I've been with UWC for about 5 years and I enjoy it because I love the job and the diversity of the environment. In my spare time, I like being outside and playing tennis, golf, and basketball. Sometimes, I'll even get to hike!"
A man of diversity and inclusion in his work and hobbies and a lover of the occasional hike (but we hope he knows we'll never tell him to go take one! 🥾⛰️) Dr. Jones, we are truly lucky to have you!
