👁️ Noticed a red, swollen bump on your eyelid? It may be a hordeolum—an infection of the oil glands along the edge of the eyelid, most often caused by bacteria.

These tender bumps typically clear up on their own within 1–2 weeks and usually don’t affect your vision. To help speed the healing process, try:
