Hi everyone! It has been way too long! FB shut my original Dani the Doula account down....so after 12 years..... I'm starting all over again. I also have an Instagram account now too....

First, I want to apologize to anyone that has tried to email me over the last few months. I've had several Gmail issues, with not receiving emails, or them going to spam/trash. I believe it is all fixed now, as I have had an influx of emails from June-now..... that I received a few weeks ago😭 If I ever don't respond to an email, please call me, or message me on here. I almost always have my phone by me!

I AM taking on birth doula families at certain Hospitals, Birth Centers, and Home Births. I am ALWAYS available for encapsulations at any location.

As I'm about to enter my 12th year of doula work, I thought I'd reintroduce myself to you all. I've attended over 400 births, encapsulated over 600 placentas, and travel all over Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. I have 5 kids, with ages ranging from 13 to 1. It has been a great year of getting to spend time with my youngest. Looking forward to catching up with you all!

The Geneabirth midwives are so sorry to hear that another freestanding birth center is closing in Minnesota due to "inequitable and unsustainable reimbursements from both state and private insurance payers." Freestanding birth centers are wonderful middle ground for those who want to avoid a hospital birth and want a supportive natural birth, but aren't committed to a homebirth or who need insurance to help with the cost of birth.

We are offering discounts and extended payment plans to families that are being affected by the loss of a Birth Center in our community for the months of January to April 2025. We are homebirth midwives who serve the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin.

We have hour long prenatal visits, a playroom for the kids, herbal remedies for common pregnancy complaints, 24 seven direct access to midwives by phone or text, (no call center for us!) We have your first 10 days of postpartum care in your home as well.
