HOME’s 300-Hour program invites you to think about what it is you love about the practice, or what you find intriguing, and dig deeper there to create your niche within the teaching community.
Previous grads have gone on to not only teach regular classes but to also offer workshops and series in specific areas of Yoga, including restorative, Nidra, yin, meditation, pranayama, chair and seniors.
What is particularly beneficial in terms of advancing your teaching and building confidence is the assisting portion and the ability to offer community classes to develop your own calling. These two aspects of the training allow trainees real-time, live experience without the pressure of being fully in charge…yet!
Like the 200-Hour training, each weekend will focus on a different family of poses in terms of practice, alignment, anatomy and sequencing. We’ll dive deeper into the yoga sutras and explore more complex ways to sequence asana.
The 300-hour also offers more in depth study of meditation, pranayama, restorative, nidra, and anatomy including topics like hypermobility, injury and fascia.
Although this training is geared toward those who completed the studio’s 200-hour training, all who are interested are welcome.
We hope you’ll join us this January!
