The CY 2026 CMS Final Rule expands revision total joint arthroplasty into the ASC setting — with multiple CPT codes added to the ASC Covered Procedures List and removed from the Inpatient-Only list.

This opens the door to greater flexibility for surgeons, improved patient access, and new growth opportunities for ASCs and orthopedic practices.
