A Safe Haven Health and Wellness is a North Carolina healthcare provider that launched in 2024 as a fully telehealth service and has since expanded into a brick-and-mortar clinic to better serve the community in person.

Founded with a mission to support those impacted by the opioid crisis and growing mental health needs in the state, the clinic focuses on accessible, affordable care. Services include treatment for substance use disorders, psychiatric conditions, and select minor medical needs.

The organization is committed to providing compassionate, judgment-free care and reducing barriers so individuals can receive the help they need at the lowest possible cost.

At A Safe Haven Health and Wellness, we think chronic pain shouldn't be something you suffer through. We offer stem wave treatments, which are non-invasive sonic treatments that are currently being studied for their effectiveness for treating chronic pain. A meta-analysis of 632 patient studies on stem wave treatments showed promising results for chronic lower back pain in particular, with recipients of stem wave treatments reporting more pain relief for a longer period of time than the participants who did not receive stem wave treatments (Liu et al., 2023).
