A quick note about care at Move Chiropractic
I wanted to share a little context around an upcoming change. I've been having this conversation in office, but may not see everyone before the time comes.
Effective April 1st, the self pay rate will increase from $49 to $55, and new patient visits will increase from $100 to $112.
This decision wasn’t made lightly. Over the past few years, the cost of running the practice: rent, supplies, software, and day-to-day expenses has steadily increased. I’ve done my best to absorb those increases myself for as long as possible, but with looking at numbers for 2025 as a whole, the line has gotten very thin.
When it came time to reassess, I really have two options:
1) Shorten appointment times and increase volume (this one gives me shrinkflation vibes)
2) Maintain the same treatment standards and make a modest price adjustment
I chose the second.
I don’t want rushed visits, shorter treatment times, or an assembly-line approach to care. I believe good care takes time, and I’ve always been intentional about keeping visits unhurried, hands-on, and focused on results. This change allows me to continue providing the same level of care you’ve come to expect, without cutting corners.
Thank you for the trust you place in me and for supporting a small, local practice. If you have any questions, I’m always happy to talk, and If I missed the mark on this one, and you prefer shorter visits vs increased cost, please feel free to let me know!
